May 14, 2010 — Liberty Mountain, a leading independent distributor of technical outdoor products and climbing brands in the U.S., has added three new outside representatives to their roster.
Starting immediately, Liberty Mountain has added the following representatives and their respective territories:
Bert Hopp. Bert will represent Edelweiss, Grivel, Beal and Singing Rock in the Mid-west. Currently representing Kayland, 5.10, Joshua Tree Products and many other top outdoor lines, “the addition of Liberty Mountain’s brands are a perfect compliment to my lineup. As an avid climber, mountaineer, backpacker and kayaker, I have grown up with each of these brands and look forward to working with them.”
Michael Puckett. Michael will focus on Vaude’s Packs N’ Bags program in the Mid-west territory, in addition to MN, IA, MO, KS and NE for the Travel specific market. “I have spent 35 years in the travel goods industry and I have always represented products that offer a "features & benefits" advantage over other products. I am very excited to be introducing Vaude Packs N’ Bags to my dealers in the travel industry. I believe the retailers will find them to have a refreshing look and very sellable in their stores.”
Tim DeYoung. Representing the full Vaude U.S. offering in the Rockies territory, Tim ads Vaude to a strong line-up including Marker, Volkl, AKU, 22 Designs and Brooks Range. ”As an avid skier, mountain biker, trekker and explorer, I have a passion for the outdoors and my passion is represented in each of the lines I represent. With over 30 years of experience in the outdoor/ski industry, I look forward to working with Liberty Mountain and representing the full outdoor breadth of Vaude.”
