Liberty Mountain Food Drive

POST FOOD DRIVE UPDATE: We'd like to thank everyone for participating in our food drive for the Utah Food Bank. It was very successful. We surpassed our goals of collecting 150 lbs of food and $300 cash for the food bank by actually collecting 226 lbs of food and $345 cash. Tis the season of giving and helping others. Thanks again for all your support and help.

Did you know that 1 in 5 Utah children are at risk of hunger?

Liberty Mountain is excitedly taking place in the 2012 Utah Food Bank Food Drive.  We’ll be collecting food donations for the Utah Food Bank from November 19 to December 21. We are inviting everyone to participate by stopping by our Warehouse Outlet Store to drop off some non-perishable food items. (Address: 4375 West 1980 South, Suite 100 Salt Lake City, UT 84101) For every food item that you bring into the Outlet Store, you'll receive 1% discount for every food item donated for up to 10% off your purchase.

If you can’t make it out to say “hello” and to drop off some food items, you can easily make your donations online at our team’s food drive webpage. It’s super easy. All you do is select the food items you’d like to donate, add them to your digital shopping cart, and then donate the cash value of those items. Our food drive goal is to collect 150 pounds of food or $300 for the Utah Food Bank. If you’d like to watch our progress in meeting our goal, just press the "View Team Progress" button on our team's food drive webpage.

The Utah Food Bank is an ideal place to donate. They can take a $1 donation and turn it into $8 worth of food and services. This is possible because of volunteer support and generous food donations. Not only that, Utah Food Bank is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, so all contributions are tax deductible.
